The scheduled rookie sprint race for Formula 1 will not take place this year, but it might in the future.
Formula 1 has decided to abandon its ambitious plans for a rookie sprint race during the post-season test in Abu Dhabi this December. The proposal, which aimed to give promising young talents valuable experience in current F1 machinery, had garnered significant interest and support from teams and stakeholders alike.
