In an outstanding display of skill and determination, Britain’s Abbi Pulling showcased her prowess at the F1 Academy weekend in Miami, securing two consecutive race wins. Pulling’s stellar performance was highlighted as she joined Karun Chandhok and Natalie Pinkham on the latest episode of the Sky Sports F1 Podcast, where she discussed her victories as well as Lando Norris’ historic maiden Grand Prix win.

Pulling’s triumph in Miami came after a controversial start to the season in Saudi Arabia, where she inherited victory post-race due to penalties incurred by her competitors. However, Pulling was determined to prove herself on the track in Miami, and she did so with remarkable dominance. Securing pole positions and leading from start to finish in both races, Pulling left no room for doubt regarding her capabilities.

The 21-year-old extended her lead in the championship standings to 34 points over her nearest rival, Doriane Pin, after four races. Reflecting on her flawless performance, Pulling expressed her satisfaction, stating, “The vibes were immaculate, and I think I scored 57 out of a possible 58 points over the whole weekend, so it was almost perfect.”

Pulling’s determination to excel in Miami was evident as she commented on her mindset going into the races, saying, “Coming to Miami, I just raised my game a bit more, especially after Jeddah and the controversy, or whatever you want to call it, that happened there, when I didn’t win on track. I definitely wanted to prove a point and show I could do it on track.”

With her stellar performance in Miami, Abbi Pulling has firmly established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the F1 Academy, setting the stage for an exhilarating championship battle ahead.
